Monica Wawrzniak

Lincoln Park High School '08, Wellesley College - Class of 2012

Before Monica Wawrzniak joined the crew team at her school, she had no idea how much precision and teamwork the sport required. She didn’t realize it would require her to wake up on Saturday’s at 7am either, but she will be the first to tell you that it has made her much stronger and changed her life. Along with rowing, Monica also is an all-city violin player, and a member of the student council. In college she hopes to continue studying economics, a subject she finds fascinating.
