Rhonda Haynes's passion for children and education motivated her to join Scholarship Chicago as Director of Strategic Initiatives.

Rhonda relocated to the Greater Chicago Area when she joined Mars, Incorporated in 2001. There, she provided analysis and support in driving excellence in pipeline integration. Her accountabilities included cost analysis, process improvement, project management, and engineering management.

Rhonda gained exposure to the medical device industry through her experiences with Abbott Laboratories in Salt Lake City, Utah and Tyco Healthcare in Augusta, Georgia, where she fulfilled operations management and engineering responsibilities. Her areas of expertise and interest include pipeline efficiency, process standardization, strategy, and associate development.

Rhonda holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Strategic Management. Rhonda is a member of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business Admissions Committee and also the University of Chicago Graduate Women in Business Committee.
