College/Major:  Northern Illinois University/ Music education

Favorite Class/Activity:  My favorite class is anything that gives me the opportunity to learn something that I don't have a clear understanding of. My favorite activity is playing my trumpet for hours and hours

Most memorable college experience to date:  My most memorable moment in college was the day I met the great Freddie Hubbard on tour with the NIU Jazz Ensemble. 

Favorite way to relax:  Sleeping, reading and listening to jazz music.

Favorite book:  The Autobiography of Miles davis becasue it goes deep into the life of a jazz master.

My dream profession:  To become a 4th grade music teacher so that I can expose the wonderful feelings you can get out of music .

Future plans:  To stay positive and give off positive vibes every one I encounter. To become a teacher and spread the knowledge that I have learned to the children I will be teaching. 

Key insight to college freshmen:  Stay focused and determined. Block off your time so that you have a set time for everything you do.

My hero:  My mother becaasue she has molded me to be a hardworking person. She has taught me that the only thing that this world can not take from you is your education. With a good education you can go far in life. She has taught me to put my trust in God and go out on faith and everything will work its way out because God has a plan for us all.
