Michael Sullivan

My Name: Michael Pierre Sullivan

High School:  Dunbar Vocational Career Academy High School, Class of 2004

College/Major:  Illinois State University/ Class of 2008; Business Management and English (majors) Spanish (minor)

Favorite Class/Activity:  Theater 153/Dancing and Bowling.

Most memorable college experience to date:   First day of college when I moved into my dorm.

Favorite way to relax:  Lay back and watch a movie or T.V.

Favorite book:  A Hope in the Unseen, by Ron Suskind

My dream profession:  To become the Chairman of law firm and to own a couple of businesses--a hotel and a toy store.

Future plans:  Graduate from ISU with a high G.P.A. and LSAT score, get into Cornell to pursue a Masters in Hospitality Adminstration and a J.D. so that I can practice law.  I want to save enough money so I can buy my first plot of land and build a toy store because I am a big kid.  Afterwards, I plan on owning a hotel because it has been a dream of mine since I was little.  My inspiration came from the movie Dustin Checks In.

Key insight to college freshmen:  Keep faith in yourself.  Also don't change for anyone.  Stay true to yourself.

My hero:  My great-grandmother.  Ever since I was little she has been drilling into me how to be a polite young man.  My surrounding and living environment stated I should act one way, but she made sure I was raised well.
