Kimberly Nevels is currently with the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development , Office of Fair Housing where she investigates housing discrimination complaints. She is participating in a year-long leadership development program with the Department and frequently traveling to Washington, DC.
Kim was introduced to the Scholarship Chicago Associate Board by fellow board member, Tereska Haman. Kim served as Tereska's Co-Chair of the Associate Board last year. Kim is mentoring one of the College Bound Scholarship recipients this year.
Kim has a B.A. in history from Illinois Wesleyan University and a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law. Kim and her husband, Malik, live in Chicago with their two dogs.
