Favorite Class/Activity:  Harmony 112, Economic Development/Grinnell College Jazz Ensemble

Most memorable college experience to date:  The ability to be a part of a musical ensemble for the first time in my academic career.

Favorite way to relax:  I enjoy playing the piano or listening to music

Favorite book:  A Hope in the Unseen, by Ron Suskind 

My dream profession:  Unsure

Future plans:  To utilize as many resources as possible at Grinnell 

Key insight to college freshmen:  As soon as you get to campus, be as open-minded as possible, try new things, and don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone.

My hero:  I admire Cedric Jennings because he had a tough childhood and was confronted by many challenges in college.  Rather than allowing these situations to break him, he persevered and turned them into opportunities to learn and grow as a person.
