College/Major:  DePaul University, Major: Accounting, Junior

Favorite Class/Activity:  My favorite activity is volunteering with different irganizations

Most memorable college experience to date:  Winning a national accounting competition with my team (after 6 months of hard work.)

Favorite way to relax:  Spending time with my family

Favorite book:  By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept, by Paulo Coelho.

My dream profession:  Working in the non-for-profit sector 

Future plans: I plan to work in public accounting for some time and then begin my own non-for-profit organization focusing on youth mentorship and education. 

Key insight to college freshmen:  Take adavantage of every opportunity that comes your way.

My hero:  My hero is Cesar E. Chavez.  He was a Mexican activist who dedicated his life to improving working and living conditions for farm workers in the United States.
