College/Major:  University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign/ College of Communications, Bachelors of Science in News-Print Journalism, Class of 2007

Favorite Class/Activity:  French and Advertising classes; Vietnamese Student Association Secretary

Most memorable college experience to date:  Hosting the 2005 Vietnamese Student Association's Annual Family Day Event, and enjoying the night with friends and family

 Favorite way to relax:  Going shopping, eating out, hanging out with friends, renting a movie and having some popcorn, listening to music, taking a nap.

Favorite book:  The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

My dream profession:  Working as a high-profile editor at a worldly popular magazine; Running and owning my own Vietnamese-French inspired bakery/cafe 

Future plans:  Graduate with a degree in journalism, work for a communications company and work up the ladder; go to grad school for business management and open my own business.

Key insight to college freshmen:  Keep an open mind.  Don't take anything at face value, but don't dismiss everything either.  Know that change is a fact of life, and just be ready to embrace it when it finds you.

My heros are:  My parents because I have seen them struggle every day of my life just so I can have the opportunities that I have been blessed with, such as going to college, having everything that I need in my grasp, and making my dreams within reach.
