Jim has been in the Financial Services Industry since receiving his BA in Business Administration, with a major in Accountancy, from Miami University (Oxford, OH) in 1981. He was a Staff Accountant with Price Waterhouse in the Dublin, Ireland and Chicago, IL offices.

Jim has been with Merrill Lynch since 1982. The Rudwall/Wasserman Group, including partner Max Wasserman, has over 40 years of experience in focusing on creating and maintaining superior client relationships while assisting public and private companies and High Net Worth clients with their financial planning and investment management needs. Our team assists clients create and monitor their comprehensive wealth management plans, by:

1)Creating and growing wealth,

2)Protecting and preserving wealth,

3)Planning for distributing wealth during life, in the most tax-advantaged way, and

4)Planning for distributing wealth after life, in the most tax-advantaged way.

Jim serves on the Board of Directors for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, and is the Chairman of its Membership Development Committee. He is the Past Chairman for the Securities Industry Association - Central States District, and Chaired the Economic Education Committee. Jim serves on the Board of Trustees of the Illinois Council on Economic Education. Jim also serves on the Board of Directors of Scholarship Chicago. Jim is a member and former Board member of the Bond Club of Chicago. Jim serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of The Ivanhoe Club.

Jim, along with his wife Julie, and daughter, Catherine live in Libertyville, IL. His outside interests include golf, Tai Chi Chuan, and other related Chinese martial arts.
