As co-chair of the Program Committee, Joan helps lead the foundation in the development of programming to support deserving college bound youth. In addition, she serves as co-chair of our Scholarship Summit Initiative, bringing together more than 15 national and local scholarship organizations working in Chicago to streamline the application process for students and their families, high school counselors and administrators.

Joan directs the bank’s Saturday Scholars Program and partnerships with four Chicago Public Grade Schools. She serves on the board of the Metropolitan Technology Foundation and is founder of the Illinois College Access Network at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, and is on the Donors Forum Membership Committee. She is a member of West Town Community Banders, and advises the Associated Colleges of Illinois (ACI).
